Plan ahead

Hey guys, normally you would have heard from me twice already this week, but because of poor planning on my part today is the first time you are hearing from me.

So… Hello everyone,

Please note the two different shoes....

Please note the two different shoes....

Hopefully your week is going well, everyone loves everyone and we all are one big happy family!  No?  Anyways, planning ahead is important.  It’s important in pretty much every aspect of life.  I think I forgot that being a stay at home mom, because I feel my time is mostly my own there is no need to set a schedule or plan ahead, I will make time somewhere in the day for all of my errands and everything will get done.  WRONG!!!

Wrong on so many levels.  I have not planned our meals(which is huge to me) so I have been eating like shit because I am eating whatever is available.  I have not been able to blog for the past 2 days because I did not plan out my days, and I have not gotten in the mileage that I wanted because of said poor day planning.  Talk about some fails!  Does anyone else meal plan?  I love it and literally look around like a lost puppy when I don’t do it.  I usually plan my full month of meals ahead of time and write everything down, how do people even cook otherwise?  How I ask!?!?!  I find this is really helpful for busy schedules and easier on the wallet.  Meal planning and meal prepping are two of the most useful tools I find.  I was thinking about writing a blog about grocery shopping only once in the beginning of the month and showing you what meals I make and so so, break down the dollar amount as well, anyone into that…?

I am glad I still kept the runstreak strong, I was not able to get my run in before seeing the movie so when I got home I went on the treadmill right away.  Didn't even stop to change.  I was pretty pumped after the movie so it worked to my advantage.

These past two days has really proven to me again that you need to plan ahead to succeed.  How does the saying go “by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”  Doesn’t that just hit the nail on the head.  I am going to accomplish a shit load of stuff tomorrow!!  (like laundry and loading the dishwasher…. It's like the wild west over here… but like… not at all…)
