Hey everyone, Sorry I was MIA yesterday. With getting the flu I needed just a day to recoup. I am so dehydrated it isn’t funny. Does anyone else purposely dehydrate themselves when sick. No way am I feeding this monster, I know that is the exact opposite of what medical professionals suggest, but it works… Kinda…
This brings me to the other stupid thing I did while sick, I actually got on the treadmill and got a mile in. How dumb is that! I was VERY dehydrated, my legs felt like jello and I was a little dizzy… So I mean yeah, of course you should exercise when you feel like that. NO!!! That was not only dumb but unsafe. I was so stuck on keeping my goal of running everyday until the end of the year that I took unsafe risk. When you are feeling poor or not up to par, please take a rest day. Your body needs rest just as much as it needs movement. It is very much yin and yang. Take care of your body, we only have the one.
Plus side, I still got it in. We know my dedication is there so that is something.
