Run Streak

Happy Monday everyone!  I thought I would start the week out strong with a new goal in mind.  A running streak.

As I have said before, running is the most effective way for me to lose weight and I thought why not try to finish the year strong with a run streak.  At least 1 mile a day until the end of  year, that 105 days.  That’s doable right? Right…? Yeah totally…. I got this.  I was doing some research on Instagram (because obviously that is your first resource) and saw someone that had a 2204 days…. That is over 6 years of running every. Single. Day.  Wow.  That makes 105 days seem like a walk in the park.  (or a run in the park!  Wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

I know what you are thinking, I have never looked better.  This is what you get when I roll out of bed, wrangle all the kids and get to the trail to walk.  Walking on trails usually means no stoller, so baby carrier it is.

Seeing that today is Monday I hope this helped you to commit to a strong week, maybe get in a walk/run or two… or maybe 105….  Just in case you need further motivation here are some reasons to join me in my run streak.

  1. Your 1 mile can be as slow or fast as you want

  2. It's good for your heart

  3. It's good for your memory

  4. You can go by yourself and have “you” time

  5. It's good for your memory

  6. You can do it with anybody, anywhere

  7. It's good for you memory

  8. Help you sleep better

  9. Your clothes will fit a bit better

  10. It's good for your memory

I don’t think I am forgetting anything…

I hope you get a run in today!

I would love to know if you start your own run streak or maybe you are already in one!  The extra motivation would be awesome!
