With Friends or without
Happy Fall! Today is officially the fall equinox and that means fires, caramel apples, cool temperature, hot cider, pumpkins, chili and apple pies! (I could keep going but, I have stuff to do) What could be better?
It sure doesn’t feel like fall right now, 85 degrees outside! 85 degrees, that pretty much screams summer. Today was another wonderful day, one of the many nice things about being a stay at home mom is being able to take advantage of the wonderful weather. The boy and I were able to get a little walk in ourselves and play outside, next I’m off to meet the girls and get some exercise! Runstreak day 3, only 102 to go!
Do you prefer exercising by yourself or with friends? For me it depends on my fitness level. (Isn’t that a sad reason) When I am at a low fitness level, (such as now) I want to exercise by myself. I don’t want anyone pushing me, I don’t want anyone saying “do you need to stop” just let me suffer on my own. Is anyone else in my boat? But when I am more physically fit I am all about exercising with people, is it because I can than be the pusher? I just feel when I am trying to get in shape I would rather be miserable in private, you feel me?
On the opposite side of the coin is working out with friends can put a positive spin on an erroneous task. It is nice exercising with friends and talking about anything and everything. It is almost like you get a double dose of endorphins. I know, that when I am working out with others you can guarantee that I will work out harder than on my own, no way am I going to appear weak!
What do you guys prefer? Alone or together?
