Do bites count?

Half way there everyone, the week is almost done!  My little man has been taking music classes on tuesdays and it has been working out perfectly!  I drop him off and my little girl and I get some miles in.  I’m getting faster!  Last week I was only able to get in 2.5 miles in, today 3! I walk/run through this really beautiful subdivision and it makes me wonder what I am doing wrong in life.  A lot of these houses appear to be owned by people my age (31) and they are very expensive houses… what did I do wrong?! (Maybe I should have finished college… maybe…) That being said, I wouldn’t change a thing ;)

Do you guys count bites that you have during the day…? LIke a little nibble here and quick bite there?  Well, let me tell you that those bites add up quick.  Like quick.  I don’t know if all moms do this, if all people do this or if I am apart of a small group but I eat WHILE I am getting my plate ready.  Not like I’m cooking a meal and I have a bite here or there, but literally my food is in the microwave and I only have to wait 60 seconds but that is too long so let me have a few chips..  Or I am getting my kids plates ready and I take a few bites off theirs.  These bites are killing me because I don’t account for them in my food diary, argh!  You know what's really horrible (I feel like I am about to tell you a horrible secret right now!) when I am developing a recipe, they aren’t bites, I should just call it a meal.

This is a recipe that is still in the works, I am trying to make pumpkin morning bars but no luck so far.  You can guarantee that my failed attempts have not gone to wastes

So I guess I have to watch my biting (enter pun here) Even though we(or me) think that they are just little bites, don’t bother counting them, after the 4th one… they count.

See you tomorrow,

Paula
